Ayurveda, Food, and Sustainability at Barberyn ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐ŸŒฟ

On August 8th, I had the opportunity to take part in the planning for the G20 German National Day at Barberyn Reef Ayurveda Resort.

Barberyn Reef holds a special place in Sri Lanka’s Ayurvedic tourism landscape. It is known for offering comprehensive Ayurvedic treatments to foreign guests, combining traditional Sri Lankan healing practices with a holistic approach to wellness.

Following our meeting, I had the opportunity to experience another important part of the resort’s philosophy: its Ayurvedic food.

A Taste of Sri Lankan Ayurvedic Cuisine

I was invited to lunch at the resort’s Ayurvedic buffet, and the variety of dishes was particularly interesting. More than simply being a selection of healthy food, the buffet demonstrated how traditional Sri Lankan ingredients and culinary practices can be preserved and presented in a way that complements an Ayurvedic lifestyle.

Among the dishes were several familiar Sri Lankan favourites, along with creative preparations:

  • Cucumber raita – a refreshing combination of cucumber and a creamy dressing, offering a cooling element to the meal.

  • Okra – prepared as a simple vegetable dish that allows the natural flavour and texture of the ingredient to stand out.

  • Neeramulliya – a traditional herbal ingredient valued in Sri Lankan Ayurvedic practices.

  • Carrot sambol – a colourful preparation that brings together the natural sweetness of carrot with the characteristic flavours of a Sri Lankan sambol.

  • Chow chow sambol – a fresh preparation using chow chow, reflecting the creativity of Sri Lankan vegetable-based cuisine.

The buffet also included soy sauce, wasabi, olive and lemon dressing, and sesame oil, providing different ways to complement the fresh vegetables and salads.

There were also seaweed salad and papaya salad, adding a refreshing and contemporary touch while continuing the emphasis on plant-based ingredients.

For the main meal, guests could choose from steamed red rice, kurakkan noodles, and vegetable biriyani. These dishes highlighted the diversity of grains and traditional ingredients used in Sri Lankan cooking.

The curries were equally varied. Mango black curry offered the distinctive combination of fruit and spices associated with Sri Lankan cuisine, while mixed lentil curry provided a nourishing source of plant-based protein. Ridge curd added another traditional element to the meal.

The vegetable selection included thampala, thalana batu, and bitter gourd, all ingredients deeply connected to Sri Lankan food culture. Their presence on the buffet demonstrated how local vegetables can remain central to a modern wellness-focused menu.

There were also some unexpected additions, including cheese and spinach quiche and bean curd, showing how the resort incorporates different culinary influences while maintaining its focus on wholesome ingredients.

A Traditional Finish

Dessert continued the Ayurvedic theme. The buffet featured Ayurvedic custard, agave jelly, and fine curd.

The dessert selection was a reminder that an Ayurvedic approach to food does not necessarily mean sacrificing variety or enjoyment. Instead, it can encourage a thoughtful relationship with ingredients, preparation, and balance.

Food, Ayurveda and Sustainability

What impressed me most was not simply the number of dishes on the buffet, but the philosophy behind them.

Barberyn Reef places strong emphasis on preserving Sri Lankan Ayurvedic cuisine and making use of locally grown ingredients. The resort farms many of the ingredients used in its food, creating a closer connection between the land, the kitchen, and the guest’s dining experience.

I also had the opportunity to visit the resort’s herbal garden, which provided a fascinating look at some of the plants connected to its Ayurvedic practices. Seeing these plants growing on the property helped demonstrate how food, traditional medicine, agriculture, and wellness can be connected.

This approach also contributes to the resort’s wider sustainability goals. Barberyn Reef is actively contributing toward the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with particular emphasis on areas such as Climate Action (SDG 13) and Life Below Water (SDG 14).

Preserving a Culinary Heritage

My visit to Barberyn Reef reminded me that preserving Sri Lankan Ayurvedic cuisine is about much more than keeping traditional recipes alive.

It is also about protecting knowledge of local ingredients, supporting cultivation, valuing traditional food practices, and demonstrating how Sri Lankan cuisine can continue to evolve without losing its identity.

The Ayurvedic buffet was therefore more than just a lunch. It was an expression of Sri Lanka’s relationship with food, nature, agriculture, and traditional wellness.

In an increasingly globalised world, places like Barberyn Reef show how Sri Lankan Ayurvedic traditions can be preserved while being introduced to visitors from around the world. The experience offered a meaningful example of how cuisine can become part of a broader story about health, heritage, sustainability, and the preservation of Sri Lanka’s unique cultural identity.

Interview - Hiruja Edurapola

A Biography of Curiosity, Innovation, and Accessible Technology

Hiruja Edurapola Digital Profile

Introduction

Hiruja Edurapola, widely known as SJ, is a Sri Lankan student, programmer, researcher, astronomer, photographer, designer, aspiring engineer, and technology innovator whose work is centered around a simple but powerful idea:

Technology should be accessible to everyone, regardless of financial status or hardware limitations.

Born on October 2, 2010, in Colombo, Sri Lanka, and raised in Panadura, Hiruja represents a generation of self-taught creators who grew up with the internet as their classroom. Unlike many students who discover their passions through formal education, Hiruja's interests emerged naturally from curiosity, experimentation, and a constant desire to understand how things work. His journey has taken him from building simple traffic-light models as a child to publishing scientific research, winning national competitions, leading school organizations, developing software systems, conducting independent research, and creating solutions intended to benefit society. Although still a student, he has already established himself in multiple fields including software development, web development, game development, astrophotography research, astronomy education, graphic design, photography, machine learning experimentation, and scientific innovation. Throughout all these areas, one theme remains constant: the desire to learn, create, improve, and make technology available to everyone.

Early Life

Hiruja Edurapola was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on October 2, 2010. He grew up in a middle-class family consisting of four members: his mother, father, younger sister, and himself. His childhood was generally happy and stable, providing him with the freedom to explore his interests and curiosity. One of his earliest memories dates back to when he was approximately two years old. While still using a playpen, he discovered that by stacking pillows, he could climb out of it. During his first attempt, he placed pillows only inside the playpen and promptly fell onto the floor after escaping. Learning from the experience, he later placed pillows on both sides before attempting the stunt again. Even at a very young age, curiosity was one of his defining characteristics. Rather than simply accepting how things worked, he wanted to understand them. This curiosity would eventually become the driving force behind nearly every achievement in his life.

The Influence of His Grandfather

Perhaps no individual had a greater influence on Hiruja's early development than his grandfather. His grandfather worked for the Ceylon Transport Board (CTB) as a mechanic engineer. Despite having limited formal education and leaving school around the age of thirteen to work in a garage, he possessed an extraordinary range of practical knowledge. To young Hiruja, his grandfather seemed capable of fixing almost anything. Electrical equipment, vehicles, plumbing systems, wooden furniture, household appliances, gardening problems, mechanical systems—nothing appeared beyond his abilities. Whenever something broke in the household, the common response was not to replace it or call a technician. Instead, the family would simply say: "Grandpa is coming next week. He'll fix it." Beyond repairing things, he also possessed a remarkable ability to explain how things worked. Every question received not only an answer but often a story based on personal experience. This combination of practical skill, engineering knowledge, storytelling, and curiosity profoundly shaped Hiruja's worldview. Many of the values he later developed as a programmer, researcher, and problem-solver can be traced directly back to these experiences. Even today, although age and health challenges have reduced his grandfather's ability to perform precision work, his influence remains deeply embedded in Hiruja's personality.

Trains, Beaches, and Electronics

During his early childhood, Hiruja developed two major obsessions. The first was trains. His grandfather frequently took him to a railway line located near their home. Together, they would spend time watching trains pass by before walking to the nearby beach to collect seashells. What began as a simple activity eventually turned into a substantial seashell collection and a growing fascination with engineering systems. The second obsession—and arguably the more important one—was electronics. By the age of four or five, Hiruja had already begun experimenting with batteries, LEDs, and small electric motors. While many children his age viewed technology as mysterious, he was learning how it actually worked. Encouraged by his grandfather, he explored circuits, electrical components, and basic engineering principles. One of the earliest projects he remembers building was a simple traffic-light system. At an age when many children imagined there were people physically operating traffic lights from inside, Hiruja was constructing his own working model. This project became one of the earliest indicators of the technical interests that would later define his life.

Education

Hiruja is a student of Sri Sumangala College, Panadura. Throughout his academic career, he has demonstrated strong performance across a wide range of subjects. Unlike many students who strongly favor certain subjects while disliking others, Hiruja enjoys nearly every subject. If he dislikes a class, he jokes that it is usually because of the teacher rather than the subject itself. Mathematics remains his favorite discipline. Its logical nature, structured problem-solving approach, and connection to engineering align perfectly with his interests. He plans to pursue the Mathematics stream for Advanced Level studies before entering the engineering field. His long-term academic ambition includes studying software engineering or aerospace engineering, with Stanford University representing a dream destination while also remaining open to opportunities within Sri Lanka's state university system.

Leadership and School Activities

Beyond academics, Hiruja actively participates in leadership and extracurricular activities. His roles include:

 • School Prefect

 • Editor – Astronomical Society

 • Editor – Environment Society

 • Vice Secretary – Leo Club

 • Editorial Panel Member – Aeronautical Society

 • Highly Notable Member – ICT Society

 • Member – Graphistics Society

These responsibilities demonstrate not only technical competence but also leadership, communication, and service. He believes that true leadership comes not from authority but from earned respect. In his own words:

"A leader with earned respect is a good leader."

This principle forms the foundation of his leadership philosophy.

Competitive Achievements

Over the years, Hiruja has earned recognition across technology, programming, science, languages, and chess. Notable achievements include:

 • 1st Place – Web Development, BTUI 2024 (Royal College Colombo)

 • 1st Place – Python Programming Competition, Prince of Wales College

 • District 1st Place – Sri Lanka School Chess Individual Championship 2024 (U17 Boys)

 • Kalutara District 1st Place – ICT Competitions

 • Recognition in English Competitions

 • Recognition in French Language Competitions

 • Recognition in Sinhala Literacy Competitions

 • 2nd Runner-Up – National Game Development Competition (Exe 2025)

 • 2nd Runner-Up – National Science Week Competition 2026

 • 2nd Runner-Up – Arthur C. Clarke Institute for Modern Technologies Ruby Jubilee Exhibition

These accomplishments reflect a rare ability to excel across multiple disciplines rather than specializing narrowly in a single area.

Programming Journey

Hiruja's programming journey began around the age of eight through Scratch. What started as experimentation with visual programming gradually evolved into web development, software engineering, and research-oriented computing. By the age of eleven, he had entered web development. Over time, he taught himself increasingly advanced technologies and frameworks. His skills now include:

 • Python

 • JavaScript

 • C# •

 C++

 • HTML

 • CSS

 • React

 • Linux

 • Arduino

 • Unity

 • Godot

 • Blender

 • Photoshop

 • DaVinci Resolve

 • Mathematical Algorithm Development

 • Web Analytics

Among all the technologies he learned, C++ stands out as the most difficult. When asked what the hardest thing he taught himself was, his answer was immediate:

"One word. C++."

First Projects

Like many young developers, Hiruja began by creating games. His earliest successful projects were developed using Scratch. Later, he built one of his first substantial websites: a multi-page informational website about Rama and Ravana. However, he considers his first truly successful software project to be a Number Guessing web game created in 2021. Although simple, it was fully functional, complete with graphics, music, gameplay systems, and very few bugs. For him, it represented something important: A complete project. It worked. People could use it. And it proved he could transform ideas into reality.

Hiruja Studios

In 2020, Hiruja founded Hiruja Studios. Initially focused on small web-based games and experimental projects, it gradually evolved into the umbrella under which many of his creations were developed. Today, Hiruja Studios serves as the home of projects ranging from simple experiments to significant research-oriented work. Many of his most notable creations have emerged through this initiative.

SJ Research Labs

In 2022, Hiruja established SJ Research Labs. Unlike Hiruja Studios, which serves as a broader project platform, SJ Research Labs focuses specifically on experimentation and research. Projects include:

 • Human decision-making analysis through Tic-Tac-Toe gameplay

 • Chess machine learning experiments

 • Data collection and behavioral analysis

 • Computational image processing

 • Astrophotography enhancement systems

The laboratory reflects his passion for understanding systems through observation, experimentation, and mathematics.

Skyora

Among all of Hiruja's projects, one stands above the rest. Skyora. The idea originated after observing controversy surrounding modern smartphone moon photography systems. While flagship devices could produce impressive lunar images, many people using older or cheaper devices were left behind. As a senior lecturer in his school's Astronomical Society, Hiruja noticed something troubling. Many beginner stargazers could see celestial objects with their own eyes but could not capture photographs of them. This often discouraged them from continuing their interest in astronomy. He found this unfair. So he decided to solve the problem. Skyora was designed as an astrophotography image enhancement system capable of running efficiently on extremely low-end hardware. Unlike many modern solutions, it avoids heavy AI dependence and instead relies on mathematical techniques optimized for performance and accessibility. The project eventually became his first research paper: "A Mathematics-Based Astrophotography Image Enhancement Method for Low-End Devices and Embedded Camera Systems."

Skyora represents more than software. It represents his philosophy: Technology should not be reserved for people with expensive hardware. Technology should be available to everyone.

Photography

Professional photography became a serious interest around age fourteen. Currently working primarily with an iPhone 14, Hiruja specializes in:

 • Aesthetic photography

 • Macro photography

 • Astrophotography

He enjoys photography because it creates tangible evidence of his work. It allows him to create something beautiful and preserve moments in time. One of his favorite achievements is seeing people choose his photographs as their profile pictures. For him, that represents genuine appreciation of his work.

Astronomy

Astronomy remains one of Hiruja's strongest passions. His interest developed through stargazing experiences and eventually evolved into active participation in astronomy education and competitions. Within competition teams, he frequently achieved the highest score among his teammates. He is particularly interested in:

 • Space exploration

 • Planetary science

 • Astrophotography

 • Rocketry

 • Astronomy education

His work through Skyora demonstrates the intersection of astronomy and technology that continues to inspire him.

Aviation and Aerospace

Another major passion is aviation. Inspired by years of watching aircraft and aviation content, Hiruja developed a fascination with aerospace engineering. Favorite aircraft include:

 • Sukhoi Su-57

 • Boeing 747 He dreams of working in aerospace or software engineering and hopes one day to contribute to missions involving extraterrestrial life or human exploration of Mars.

Philosophy of Technology

Perhaps the most defining aspect of Hiruja's worldview is his commitment to accessibility. He consistently focuses on creating solutions that:

 • Run on low-end hardware

 • Cost little or nothing

 • Remain available to everyone

 • Reduce technological barriers

His projects are designed not for exclusivity but for inclusion. This principle influences nearly every decision he makes as a creator.

Personal Philosophy

One of the most important philosophies in Hiruja's life is expressed through a quote he created himself:

"Imagine every scenario like randomly finding a Rs. 5000 note while you are walking home. You'd be hella happy if you find it, but if you don't, it wouldn't make any difference."

This idea forms the foundation of his approach to success. Rather than attaching happiness entirely to achieving a specific goal, he focuses on appreciating progress. If he achieves first place, he celebrates. If he achieves third place, he celebrates reaching the podium. If he finishes in the top ten, he celebrates being among the best. If he improves compared to the previous attempt, he celebrates growth. This mindset allows him to remain motivated without becoming trapped by unrealistic expectations.

Beliefs About Life

Hiruja believes that the purpose of life is to live the life you want, earn honestly, avoid wrongdoing, help others, and leave a positive impact. Despite his strong interests in mathematics, science, and engineering, he maintains a belief in God and the existence of an afterlife. He believes people should be judged not merely by achievement, but by the good they do throughout their lives.

Future Vision

Looking ahead, Hiruja hopes to:

• Achieve outstanding results in his O/L examinations

• Enter the engineering field

• Pursue aerospace or software engineering

• Continue research and innovation

• Expand Skyora and future projects

• Make technology free and accessible

• Build a legacy that outlives him

When asked what he wants people to remember him for, his answer is simple:

Innovation. Service. Research.

And perhaps more importantly: Helping ordinary people gain access to technology that they otherwise could not afford. For Hiruja Edurapola, success is not merely about building software. It is about building solutions that matter. His story is still only beginning.

G20 German National Day Planning

Hiruja Edurapola at with the barberyn crew and SUNFO memebers at the G20 German National Day Planning

I’m happy to share that I had the opportunity to attend the G20 German National Day Planning Meeting at Barberyn Ayurveda Resorts, representing the SUNFO Global Federation, and the Sustainability Development Goals Children’s Parliament of Sri Lanka as the Minister of Clean and Affordable Energy ๐ŸŒ

It was a great experience to be part of the discussions and planning for the upcoming German National Day celebrations.

One of the main topics we discussed was environmental action around the Moragalla coast. ๐ŸŒŠ We explored the idea of a beach cleanup connected to SDG 14 – Life Below Water and SDG 13 – Climate Action.

Hiruja Edurapola at G20 German National Day Planning Meeting Table

But we came to an important conclusion: awareness can sometimes create a bigger impact than simply cleaning.

You can clean a beach today, but if the community’s habits don’t change, the pollution can return in just a few weeks. ♻️

Instead, by raising awareness among local communities and encouraging people to protect their environment, we can work towards creating a long-term change. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’ก

We also discussed an art competition as part of the upcoming activities. ๐ŸŽจ

I’m really grateful for this opportunity to learn, share ideas, and contribute to something meaningful. I’m excited to see how these plans develop and, most importantly, to see the results on German National Day! ๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช๐ŸŒ

And yes… I was probably the youngest person in the room at 16! ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿš€

Excited for what’s coming next! ⚡๐ŸŒฑ

My Coding Career

๐Ÿง‘๐Ÿฝ‍๐Ÿ’ป My Coding Career

I've been coding for about 7 years now. I'm a front-end web and web app developer now. I'm also in the fields of game development, software development, and AI and ML. In this article, I will explain how I became who I am today in the coding field.

Hello World

In 2018 when I was in third grade (8 years old) my uncle brought me an Arduino Uno board along with a few LED bulbs. He taught me some basic stuff on how you can set the value "HIGH" and "LOW" in order to light the LED. I first started Arduino coding using PictoBlox.

After he left, I began experimenting with different numbers of LEDs and different patterns. Although this was my first time coding, I had previously experimented with LEDs, motors, and batteries which were brought by my grandmother (mother's mother).

Then I discovered Scratch. I started off with projects where the sprites danced to music. I made a lot of projects like that. Then I started making games and other projects using Scratch, specifically animated stories. Later in the 2019–2020 period, I fell in love with the pen feature in Scratch. I used to do complex and beautiful animations with pen and publish it on the Scratch website. All the birthday wishes for my family members were now based on a Scratch pen project.

In 2019 I created a YouTube channel called "Video Hiruja" (later changed to Hiruja Studios, before being discontinued due to starting the new channel). I posted fairy tale–inspired stories animated inside Scratch, and voice-overed by me and my sister in the channel. It got about 50 subscribers, mostly family members and relatives.

Discovering Web Development

In 2021, when I was in the 6th Grade (11 years old), my father signed me up for an online web development course. It was during the COVID-19 quarantine period, so I had already started using the computer more often. The first day was really interesting to me. I learned about the basics and how to add text to a webpage.

After the class, I experimented with the things I had already learned. Eventually, I got better and better at web development while doing the course, and at a certain point, I remember, I had trouble sharing my assignment on the screen. When I told the lecturer of the course about it, he said

"No need to share. The chances of Hiruja getting an error is very rare."

This was a really good motivation that I still remember today even after 5 years. After and during the course, I spent most of the time recreating/reverse-engineering popular websites like Apple.

The Next Steps

After the web development course, I was qualified to take the game development course from the same lecturer. I learned C# with Unity 2D game development. I created many games during the course but dropped out without going to the 3D stage of the course.

After that, all of my other knowledge is self-taught. I was only working as a front-end web developer until 2023. I made a lot of websites and web apps during the time. They are also linked at the end of the article.

In 2024, I took Harvard University's CS50 Python course. Now I'm a bit familiar with Python as well. And in 2025 I again started to learn Unity 3D game development with C#. I also learned a few frameworks like React and Tailwind. Although I prefer writing in vanilla HTML, CSS, and JS.

Projects

One of the first major projects that I can remember was made in 2019 when I was in the 4th Grade. I made a Bluetooth-controlled car using Arduino.

In 2022, after the lockdown, I presented my Smart Dustbin Concept at the school's science exhibition. A dustbin controlled with an Arduino controller with an ultrasonic sensor and a servo motor which can detect if there is a human in front of it and automatically open/close the lid.

Later in 2024, I again presented my Parental Control app at the school's science exhibition. A Python app which periodically takes screenshots of the child's computer screen, so parents can see what their children are up to. This is the time I learned and experimented with Python libraries like Flask and this is when I learned how Python can be used for backend web development.

Hiruja Edurapola at Sri Sumangala College Science Exhibition 2024

In 2024 I participated in an inter-school programming competition held by Prince of Wales College Moratuwa. I won the first place in the Python programming category. This was my first noticeable win in the programming section (not web development).

Also in late 2024, I participated in a web development competition held by Royal College - Colombo. I also won the first place in the junior category. This is the time I learned about React and complex web animation technologies. As a component for the web design here, I also came up with a concept of a day-night cycle in HTML using Apple's dynamic wallpaper/image files (.heic).

A few of my Notable Projects

Project Description Technologies
SJML Something I started doing back in 2024. A css toolkit to make it easier to develop websites. Instead of other simillar technologies like tailwind which uses class names to add styles, sjml directly uses html tags to define css rules.

For example a <yt> tag should display the youtube logo,
and it doesn't require something like class="fab fa-youtube text-red-600 text-2xl"

Sadly, it was later discontinued but you can still find the older (unmaintained) releases.

ClayWay Up

ClayWay Up by Hiruja Edurapola - Game Thumbnail

๐Ÿš€ Just submitted my latest game, Clayway Up, for a game jam ๐ŸŽฎ๐Ÿงฑ

Even though the jam had 30 days, I ended up starting the project only about 6 hours before the deadline… and somehow finished it right on the very last minute ⏱️๐Ÿ˜…

The game itself is a 2.5D browser platformer with clay-like, morphic visuals. It was my first time experimenting with claymorphism-style graphics, so it turned into a really interesting design learning experience for me. Since the jam only allowed web-based games, I also had to focus heavily on optimization, especially ensuring the visuals and performance ran smoothly in a browser environment.

What makes this project even more special is that it doesn’t use any game engine or WebGL at all, it’s built with pure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Completely handcrafted and 100% human-made, with no AI tools involved in the development process. It honestly reminded me of the time around 2021–2022 when I used to build a lot of web apps and small games using just JavaScript, back when AI tools weren’t really a thing yet. There’s something about that era of building things from scratch that I really miss.

Check it out: https://hirujaedurapola.itch.io/clayway-up

It’s a small project made within a short period of time, so it’s not 100% complete or perfect. Some bugs may occur. Feedback is appreciated ๐Ÿ™Œ

A New Responsibility, A New Beginning

I am honored and excited to share a memorable milestone in my journey: attending the Sustainable Development Goals Children’s Parliament of Sri Lanka Induction 2026 ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ฐ✨

I am especially proud to have been elected as the Minister of Clean and Affordable Energy ⚡๐ŸŒฑ at the World Sustainable Development Goals Children’s Parliament of Sri Lanka. This opportunity is both an honor and a responsibility, and I look forward to using it to contribute to meaningful projects that can create a positive impact.

The induction was also a wonderful opportunity to meet talented, passionate, and inspiring young leaders from across Sri Lanka. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’ก Connecting with other young people who are committed to making a difference reminded me of the importance of teamwork, ideas, and youth participation in building a better future.

As part of the experience, I attended an insightful lecture at BMICH on leadership, democracy, and governance. ๐Ÿ›️๐Ÿ“š The session gave me valuable perspectives on responsible leadership and the role we can play as young citizens in our communities and our country.

I also had the opportunity to visit the BMICH Museums, which helped me gain a deeper understanding of Sri Lanka’s political history and democratic journey. ๐Ÿ—ณ️๐Ÿ•Š️ Learning about the past made me reflect on the importance of responsible leadership and the opportunities we have to shape the future.
Being elected as the Minister of Clean and Affordable Energy is a responsibility I am grateful to accept. ⚡๐ŸŒ

I am excited to begin this journey, work alongside fellow young leaders, and explore meaningful initiatives that promote a cleaner, more sustainable future. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’ก

I am truly grateful for this experience and for the opportunity to represent young people in Sri Lanka. I look forward to everything that lies ahead and to turning ideas into action. ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿ’š
