I am especially proud to have been elected as the Minister of Clean and Affordable Energy ⚡๐ฑ at the World Sustainable Development Goals Children’s Parliament of Sri Lanka. This opportunity is both an honor and a responsibility, and I look forward to using it to contribute to meaningful projects that can create a positive impact.
The induction was also a wonderful opportunity to meet talented, passionate, and inspiring young leaders from across Sri Lanka. ๐ค๐ก Connecting with other young people who are committed to making a difference reminded me of the importance of teamwork, ideas, and youth participation in building a better future.
As part of the experience, I attended an insightful lecture at BMICH on leadership, democracy, and governance. ๐️๐ The session gave me valuable perspectives on responsible leadership and the role we can play as young citizens in our communities and our country.
I also had the opportunity to visit the BMICH Museums, which helped me gain a deeper understanding of Sri Lanka’s political history and democratic journey. ๐ณ️๐️ Learning about the past made me reflect on the importance of responsible leadership and the opportunities we have to shape the future.
Being elected as the Minister of Clean and Affordable Energy is a responsibility I am grateful to accept. ⚡๐
